Meet Axis, Alinea’s first signature blend, developed specifically for cold brew and the warmer months ahead. Built with intention, this blend combines a 60% Brazil natural with a 40% Peru washed to create a cup that is smooth, balanced, and deeply approachable.

The Brazil component provides a rich, full-bodied foundation with notes of milk chocolate and roasted nuts, while the Peru adds structure and clarity, bringing subtle brightness and layered sweetness. Together, they form a profile designed to perform exceptionally well as a cold brew that’s low in acidity, round in body, and consistent from the first sip to the last.

Sourcing & Composition

This blend brings together two complementary coffee-producing regions:

  • Brazil (Natural Process) – Contributes body, sweetness, and chocolate-forward depth

  • Peru (Washed Process) – Adds balance, refinement, and a clean finish

By pairing natural and washed coffees, Axis achieves both richness and structure making it an ideal foundation for cold brew applications.

Processing

The Brazil component is naturally processed, allowing the coffee cherry to dry fully intact, enhancing sweetness and body. The Peru component undergoes a traditional washed process, where the fruit is removed prior to drying, resulting in a cleaner, more structured cup.

This combination of processing methods creates a blend that is both expressive and balanced, optimized for long immersion brewing.

What to Expect

Axis is crafted to be smooth, comforting, and highly drinkable. In the cup, expect notes of milk chocolate, almond, and warm baking spices, with a rounded mouthfeel and low acidity.

Designed as a cold brew concentrate, it holds up beautifully over ice and pairs effortlessly with milk making it a versatile option for both black and milk-based preparations.
